Abstract: This paper documents procedures to reconfigure STP-only Coordinated Timing Networks (CTNs). The following procedures will be discussed:
• Merging STP-only CTNs disruptively
• Merging STP-only CTNs non-disruptively
• Splitting STP-only CTNs
• Moving servers between STP-only CTNs disruptively
• Moving servers between STP-only CTNs non-disruptively

The recommended procedures are disruptive and require a sysplex-wide outage. However, it is possible to merge STP-only CTNs and move servers between STP-only CTNs with running z/OS systems.
