Abstract: The DIAGDATA Library Request command was introduced to help analyze TS7700 cluster to cluster handshakes, such as logical volume mounts and demounts. The command helps summaries a series of key handshake timing metrics as well as failure counts among peer handshakes. The goal of introducing DIAGDATA is to diagnose and isolate persistent cluster issues which can cause I/O delays or problems. The command is only informational and takes no action on the targeted grid.

The document has been updated to include changes to the output format when all clusters in the grid are running R4.1.2 machine code, or higher.
