HTTP Server; WebSphere Application Server for z/OS

Abstract: The Apache HTTP server is a widely used HTTP Server on distributed platforms and part of its popularity is that users can code their own custom modules.

This document does not attempt to provide in depth information about Apache custom modules, but rather to provide some working samples and enough information to provide a basic understanding of custom modules and how to use them on a z/OS system.

If your background is working with Apache HTTP Server on distributed platforms, then the good news is that same experience applies equally well to working with the IBM HTTP Sever.
