Abstract: HACMP supports the 4 Gigabit Fibre Channel PCI-X adapters

HACMP supports the 4 Gigabit Fibre Channel PCI-X adapters

July 28, 2006

IBM High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing (HACMP*) for AIX 5L*, Version 5.2, V5.3, and V5.4 now expands support to include the 4 Gigabit Single-Port Fibre Channel PCI-X adapters, FC 5758 and 1905, and the 4 Gigabit Dual-Port Fibre Channel PCI-X adapters, FC 5759 and 1910.

These next generation Fibre Channel adapters are better than ever — with more bandwidth and better performance; this type of external fiber connector provides single or dual initiator capability over an optical fiber link or loop.

Please refer to the following table for support details.
