Role

The mobile application developer for IBM MobileFirst Foundation is expected to develop, test, debug and deploy hybrid and mobile web applications. These applications use HTML5, JavaScript, Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), Apache Cordova API for access to device resources, and the MobileFirst Foundation client API and adapters, in order to provide users with a rich set of capabilities.

The mobile application developer will use an Eclipse based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) along with MobileFirst Studio and a JavaScript development framework such as Dojo or jQuery toolkit or Xcode and MobileFirst CLI to develop mobile applications, and then package and deploy the applications to the MobileFirst Foundation server and mobile devices.
