Submitting an NRE and MVA



Submitting a Bid Price Breakdown Worksheet with the Non-Recurring Expenses (NRE) and Manufacturing Value Add (MVA),

If working with a Card Assembly follow the steps below:

  1. Select on the twistie next to the subject RFQ package.
  2. Select title subject 'BOM Package for: Support ...'
  3. Select Edit button on the Toolbar.
  4. Scroll down on this screen to Bid Price Breakdown Worksheet.for Card Assembly.
  5. Enter data (as above) for Non Recurring Expenses & Manufacturing Value Add.
  6. At the end of the Bid Price Breakdown Worksheet, enter any comments and attach any file in white Comment: rectangle.
  7. Scroll to top of the Assembly Price Summary. In EDIT mode there will be a Save button on the Toolbar.
  8. Click the Save button. The Contract Manufacturer's pricing is now complete.

When all data is entered, continue to submit completed response. If working with a Box Assembly, follow the steps below.

  1. Select on the twistie next to the subject RFQ package.
  2. Select 'BOM Package for: Support ...'
  3. Select Edit button in the top header.
  4. Scroll down on this screen to Bid Price Breakdown Worksheet. For Box Assembly.
  5. Enter data (as above) for Non Recurring Expenses & Manufacturing Value Add.
  6. At the end of the Bid Price Breakdown Worksheet, enter any comments and attach any file in white Comment: rectangle.
  7. Scroll to top of the Assembly Price Summary. In Edit mode there will be a Save button on the Toolbar.
  8. Click the Save button. The Contract Manufacturer's pricing is now complete.

Note: If there needs to be an update to a component's price, go to View existing BOM,

Note: If there needs to be an update to an NRE or MVA value, go to the above Bid Breakdown., Change the price, click Save.

To see the Bill of Materials (BOM) in the Production database:

  1. Select on View Existing BOM Files.
  2. Select View Production tab at the top of the web page. Select the twistie of the desired BOM Package for the RFQ.
  3. This will show 'BOM Package for...'., the selected RFQ. Select the twistie of 'BOM Package for:...' to show Bill of Materials for the BOM.
