ARMONK, NY - 28 May 2004: IDC reported today that in 1Q 2004, IBM was once again the number one server vendor in the world based on factory revenue.(1) IBM built upon the revenue leadership position it had established in 2003.

IDC data shows that IBM gained world wide revenue share year-to-year in several key server segments.(2) Highlights include:
