IBM Global Services Earns Straight "A"s On CRM/ERP Report Card From Peerstone Research

ARMONK, NY - 23 Aug 2002: Peerstone Research Inc. announced today that IBM Global Services has earned an "A+" for its skill in implementing packaged software applications commonly used by mid-sized and large organizations. IBM Global Services was voted the clear leader by more than 150 executives who rated leading consulting and integration firms' implementation skills in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, according to Peerstone Research, an IT market research firm based in San Francisco.

The survey asked users to grade leading integrators in three areas:

Overall grades are based upon the average of performance in these three areas, Peerstone Research said.

"Our users have clearly selected IBM Global Services as the winner by a wide margin among the leading integrators that we tested for ERP and CRM packaged application work," said Jeff Gould, CEO and Research Director, Peerstone Research Inc. "Users appear to put IBM Global Services in a different category than the traditional integrators."

In the report, the "2002 ERP & CRM Integrator Scorecard," IBM Global Services beat out such competitors as Accenture, Andersen, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Deloitte Consulting and KPMG Consulting.
