Aperto is a highly regarded digital service provider in Germany and Europe. Its more than 300 employees will join IBM iX, already the largest global digital agency[1], to evolve the experiences clients provide to customers and employees. Aperto’s roster of clients currently includes companies such as Airbus Group, Volkswagen and Siemens.

The acquisition of Aperto is the latest strategic move to enhance the experience design prowess of IBM iX. IBM recently announced plans to acquire Bluewolf , one of Salesforce's top partners and a globally recognized leader in cloud consulting and implementation services. Earlier this year, IBM iX closed acquisitions of Resource/Ammirati, a US-based digital marketing and creative agency, and ecx.io, a full-service digital agency headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany.
