BANGALORE, INDIA - 24 Feb 2009: IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that a leading analyst and information technology (IT) market research firm, Springboard Research, has recognized IBM as the leader in the Indian domestic IT services market with a market share of 10.8% for calendar year 2008. In a report titled, "India IT Services: Competing for Tomorrow's Market," Springboard ranks IBM as the number 1 vendor in IT infrastructure services and consulting services.
