COPENHAGEN, DENMARK - 06 Nov 2008: Cheminova, the largest Danish manufacturer of fine chemicals mainly for the plant production industry, and IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced an agreement under which IBM will implement a global SAP solution and ERP transformation project for Cheminova -- Cheminova's "SAP Global One Program."

Cheminova plans to become a globally integrated company with global processes enabled by one centralized business information system provided by IBM. The transformation program includes 24 countries and will initially encompass 1,000 users. The services will be provided by a global IBM team and the program will enable Cheminova to shorten the time-to-market of new products and act faster and more effectively in the global marketplace.

"Following our decision to embark on a Global Transformation program, our search for partners has been based on their ability to understand our business, act both locally and globally, and support our best practice-led approach. IBM has shown strong local and global consulting competency, combined with good references in the chemical industry -- and very importantly a global template for best practices," says Henning K. Christensen, Vice President IT, Cheminova.

"At IBM we are dedicated to supporting companies with their transformation projects. This implementation will be 'Cheminova unique' helping them move to a global focus on business processes, performance management and products," says Soren Henriksen, Country Manager, IBM Global Business Services, Denmark.

The agreement was signed on the 30th of September 2008.
