IBM Signs IT Services Agreement With Van Lanschot

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - 21 Oct 2008: IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced a seven-year agreement with Van Lanschot Bankiers (EURONEXT: LANS). The IBM contract covers infrastructure services including helpdesk, end user computing, network, telecom, mainframe, data center and transformation services using IBM's global delivery model.

Van Lanschot Bankiers is the oldest independent bank in the Netherlands with a focus on high net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.

The agreement with IBM will allow Van Lanschot Bankiers to focus on its core strengths in support of Van Lanschot's strategy to become the leading Dutch private bank and delivering best in class banking services to its respected clients. The contract also enables Van Lanschot to improve the overall quality of service to support their overall strategy and increase flexibility to implement commercial and business changes.

The agreement was signed in October 2008.
