IBM Momentum Accelerates in New Markets in Asia Pacific; Agreements Inked in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea and China

ARMONK, NY - 18 Jan 2008: IBM (NYSE: IBM), the leader in information technology (IT) and business services, today announced new services agreements in emerging markets throughout the Asia Pacific region. Today's announcements indicate IBM's strategic focus on delivering technology and services to emerging markets is gaining momentum.

For IBM, key emerging markets are growing at more than twenty percent.

Today's announcements by IBM include:
