Teens Earn College Degrees From IBM-Inspired P-TECH Schools - Four young women are among the 16 students who are joining the ranks of 35 early graduates of the original P-TECH school, which has spawned a nationwide network since 2011 of nearly 60 career-focused schools that confer both high school and technology-oriented community college associates degrees. All of the January 2017 graduates of the Brooklyn, NY P-TECH school in Manhattan, completed the six-year curriculum ahead of schedule, with some finishing in as few as 3.5 years. IBM is committed to working with educators and businesses to grow the number of schools in the P-TECH network to 80 during 2017. There are currently more than 250 businesses partnering with P-TECH schools serving thousands of students. (Jon Simon/Feature Photo Service for IBM)
