Riccardo Forlenza

Full biography

Riccardo Forlenza is currently the Managing Director for the National Australia Bank Integrated Account within IBM holding responsibility across IBM lines of business for the financial performance and client satisfaction of the client. Based in Melbourne since May 2014, he leads a team of more than 1,000 professionals dedicated to delivering innovation and performance to one of IBM’s largest global clients.

Prior to this, Riccardo was based in Prague and had responsibility for financial performance and client satisfaction in the Central European region, which comprises the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.  In this capacity, he led a team of 1,700 professionals with software, services, hardware and delivery responsibilities.

Previously, Riccardo had worldwide responsibility for IBM sales, operational and client management activities at Morgan Stanley in New York City, and for IBM’s trade and supply chain financing outsourcing practice.  Riccardo has also held a variety of executive assignments within IBM Global Financing, running virtually all aspects of it over a 15-year span, including an assignment in Singapore where he was responsible for IBM’s financing operations across Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining IBM, Riccardo was a lending officer at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and a credit analyst at UBS.

Riccardo holds a bachelor’s degree from Mercy College (summa cum laude) and a master’s degree in management from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
