IBM CoreConnect™ is an emerging, open, industry-standard bus architecture designed to ease the integration and reuse of processor, system, and peripheral cores within standard and custom system-on-a-chip (SOC) designs.
|
|
IBM CoreConnect is available as a no-fee, no-royalty architecture to system-on-a-chip tool vendors, core IP companies, and chip development companies. A 32-bit version of the CoreConnect bus architecture, used by IBM in more than 20 designs over three years, and a 64-bit version can be licensed today. Each version includes a processor local bus, on-chip peripheral bus, arbiters, bus bridge, and a bus monitor. A complete PLB test and verification solution is available from Denali in their Purespec(tm) and PureSuite(tm) products.

Membership is designed to facilitate the collection of bus performance feedback and to provide a forum in which suggestions for architecture improvements can be discussed. |
