AMCC expands the reach of Power Architecture
Effective immediately, IBM Microelectronics will incorporate the entire AMCC Power Architecture 4xx processor portfolio into the IBM Semiconductor solutions offering. That's over a dozen new ASSPs optimized for datacom/telecom networking, wireless infrastructure, printing/imaging and storage applications.

IBM extends its portfolio of RF CMOS offerings with the addition of CMOS 7RF SOI, a 180 nm silicon-on-insulator IBM Foundry technology optimized for RF switch applications that offers performance comparable to the traditional gallium arsenide technology-based alternative, at significantly lower cost.

CMOS 7RF SOI can help empower clients with the ability to integrate multiple analog functions into single chip RF solutions for tomorrows mobile devices.
