...Kazan, capital of the Tatarstan Republic, is one of Russia’s major industrial, commercial and cultural centers? Recently, Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and the Tatarstan Republic signed an agreement to develop a technology center in addition to its already existing 151 large and medium-size companies.
The agreement between IBM and Technopark "Idea" focused on creating a strategy for a Technological Center of embedded system IT-products in mechanical engineering and petrochemistry, possessing export potential.
The Technological Center of IT-products will be one of the components of the High Technology Park of Tatarstan Republic. The High Technology Park will be placed in two areas: in the territory of Technopark "Idea", and the territory of the Industrial Park "Himgrad", where the chemical and petrochemical entities are planned to be developed.
