How IBM engineers are collaborating with clients, business partners, ISV's and education institutions across the globe

Each week, IBM will highlight a story from around the world where IBM engineers are collaborating with clients, business partners, ISV's and education institutions to bring the latest technology to the market in new and innovative ways.

Did you know...

...Green Hills Software has been the leader in embedded optimizing compiler technology for the last twenty-five years? This is why IBM leveraged the reliable Green Hills software to certify and publish benchmark scores on two recent microprocessors with the independent Embedded Microprocessor Benchmark Consortium® (EEMBC - http://www.ghs.com/Benchmarks.html).

Today's IBM customers are concerned with low power consumption, and the Green Hills Software tools help to minimize this issue while maximizing performance. IBM believes choosing the proper complier is one of the key components in maximizing device performance, both in testing and real-world applications.

In addition to benefiting microprocessor manufacturers, the Green Hills Software tools are used to build software running the most reliability critical systems, including aircraft engines, automotive systems, medical devices and high availability telecommunications equipment.
