At the IBM booth at SC07, visitors learned about IBM Deep Computing capabilities, saw IBM solutions in action and asked questions of IBM experts. The IBM booth featured 15 demonstrations, highlighting the extraordinary performance of IBM Deep Computing solutions and capabilities in collaboration, productivity and energy efficiency.

- System S “stream” processing from IBM Research

- IBM BladeCenter QS21 with cell technology

- IBM System Cluster 1350 and IBM BladeCenters with flexible choice and energy efficiency

- “Scalable City” simulated and visualized on IBM cell Blades

- SURAgrid research collaborations

- Computational steering on IBM Blue Gene

- GPFS across heterogeneous platforms

There were:
- Over 20 different presentations by invited guest speakers in the Booth Theater. Speakers included experts from LLNL, EPFL, ANL, Virginia Commonwealth University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, RPI, CINECA and IBM. Presentations ran nearly every half hour during normal exhibit hours on Tuesday-Thursday.
