Did you know...
...IBM, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing and Samsung Electronics teamed to form the Common Platform technology ecosystem, making it possible to produce nearly identical chip designs from any one of several manufacturing facilities across the globe? This model helps companies mitigate the risks of being locked into a single supplier.
Last month, Apache Design Solutions added value to this supply when their RedHawk full-chip dynamic power integrity solution was qualified for use in the Common Platform technology reference flows, specifically for 65nm. This adoption allows IBM, Chartered and Samsung, and their customers, to access this popular power sign-off solution and all it's benefits, including cell-based capacity and advanced power analysis.
