March 16, 2007 SecureFTP and AES support available via PTF for z/VSE V4.1 and later
Support for SecureFTP and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) with key lengths of 128, 192, and 256 bits is now available with TCP/IP for VSE/ESA on z/VSE V4.1 and later. On z9 BC and z9 EC servers, AES 128-bit key support is also available via the CPACF feature
Support for SecureFTP is provided with APAR PK39262 (PTF UK22143); the AES support with APAR PK39279 (PTF UK22086 for z/VSE 4.1)
After PTF installation, these functions can be used with the TCP/IP Application Pak license. For a detailed description on how to use SecureFTP please refer to manual "TCP/IP for VSE Optional Features Guide Version 1 Release 5", which is provided by CSI International for download
January 14, 2003 TCP/IP for VSE/ESA V1.5became available. For more information on this new release, please go to the TCP/IP for VSE/ESA V1.5 web site or the CSI International web site
