 How many processors can I exploit with VSE? 

VSE Turbo Dispatcher supports any numbers of processors, however it is not recommended to use more than 3 processors. To exploit multiple processors, the VSE system must be tuned and the workload must be sufficient.

In general it is better to run on a faster uni-processor system than to run a a slower multi-processor system, even if the sum MIPS are the same.

The number of processors that are exploited by a particular workload can be determined by using the QUERY TD,INTERNAL command. The NP/TOT value is the non-parallel share (NPS):

#CPUs = 0.8 - 0.9 / NPS
