IBM Print Services Facility™ (PSF) for z/OS
(5655-M32) is a z/OS-based print and output solution for Advanced Function
Presentation™ (AFP™) page printers. It
offers exceptional reliability and versatility to help you manage your
production printing environment.
PSF provides an end-to-end high-quality color
and black-and-white enterprise solution based on the industry standard open AFP
architecture. This latest release, PSF
Version 4 Release 4, provides support for: bar codes, Unicode output, Portable
Network Graphics (PNG) images, and IPv6 networking. In addition, PSF V4.4 supports the latest AFP
IS/3 standard for improved integration of multi-vendor AFP-based systems, and
improved color, image, and font management.
PSF V4.4 runs on z/OS V1.11, or later, with supported
levels of JES2 or JES3.
