Infoprint Transform hardware and software requirements

Hardware
IBM eServer zSeries processors capable of supporting z/OS or z/OS.e. For printing documents that have been converted into AFP, an IPDS or IPDS-compatible printer is required.

For printing documents that have been converted into PCL or PostScript, a printer that supports PCL5, PCLc or PCL6 is required for PCL, and PostScript Level 2 or Level 3 is required for PostScript printing.

Software

The operating system must be at z/OS Version 1 Release 4 or higher, or z/OS.e.

If AFP to PDF encryption is used, the IBM z/OS Open Cyptographic Services Facility (OCSF) feature must be installed on the system.
