You can use any of these IBM products or programs with Infoprint®
Server: for z/OS:
Print Services Facility™
provides the system support for
AFP™/IPDS™ printing on z/OS®. This includes automatic resource
management,
end-to-end management of the print job with page level error recovery,
and
integrated SMF accounting. PSF printers can be defined in the Infoprint
Server
inventory and managed using Infoprint Central for an integrated,
enterprise-wide output solution of both AFP and non-AFP print.

Infoprint Transform from AFP products require
the Infoprint Server for z/OS and can convert AFP output into PCL,
PostScript
or PDF..
- Print
Transform from AFP to PDF for Infoprint Server for z/OS, V1.1
(5655-TF1), transforms AFP output to PDF format.
- Print
Transform from AFP to PCL for Infoprint Server for z/OS, V1.1
(5655-TF2), transforms output from AFP to PCL format.
- Print
Transform from AFP to PostScript for Infoprint Server for z/OS, V1.1
(5655-TF3), transforms output from AFP to PS format.
- Infoprint
Transforms to AFP for z/OS (5655-N60) transforms SAP R/3 ABAP and OTF
to AFP,
PCL to AFP, PostScript and PDF to AFP.
InfoPrint Server for z/OS and the IBM Print Transform to AFP product
enable you to leverage high speed, powerful, resilient, and
manageability of
AFP-based host printer.
- Infoprint Server Coaxial Printer
Support (5655-N62) drives printers defined to VTAM as LU0, LU1 or LU3
to
support SNA Character String (SCS) and Datastream
Compatibility/Datastream
Extended (DSC/DSE) print output.

Page Printer
Formatting Aid/370
(PPFA) lets you create formatting resources (page
and form
definitions) for use with printers driven by PSF.
 
XML
Extender is a composition engine for XML data
formatted with
XSL style sheets or XSL with Formatting Objects (XSL-FO). It can
generate
output in either AFP or PDF formats.
Infoprint
XT provides conversion of Xerox resources, and print
files containing LCDS and metacode commands, for printing on AFP/IPDS
printers.
Windows client for Infoprint Server
lets you print from Microsoft Windows applications
to any printer that is defined to z/OS Infoprint Server and to the Microsoft
Windows system. This program can be downloaded at no charge from the
Printing Systems Web site at www.ibm.com/printers.
