When Things Go Wrong

The following table lists common problems and solutions.

Problem Solution
I click on View online, RealPlayer opens a window, but nothing happens. Check the version of RealPlayer. Click on Help, then About RealPlayer... You must be at Version 6.0.3.128 or higher. If you have an older version, go back to the topics page and click on the RealPlayer icon at the bottom of the page.
I see a pink flicker in the video. Check the RealPlayer preference settings. Click on Options, then Preferences... Click on the Performance tab. Uncheck "Use optimized video display".
I have a problem viewing the streaming video: the buffering sometimes goes out of sync, and the message "net congestion" appears too often. Is it possible to download the whole workshop to my workstation? Yes-- visit the downloads page.
