This service level contains support for the D/T2107 IBM TotalStorage DS8000, Model 2107-9xx.
The Subsystem Creation Wizard has been enhanced, which allows for higher productivity, and automatic assignments are done in the wizard whenever possible.
HCM now allows you to select multiple control units in the Affected Control Units dialog and to connect the whole selection of control units logically to CHPIDs so that all control units under focus have similar connections to the selected CHPIDs. |

The HCM service levels show the physical channel ID (PCHID) in the diagram beneath the CHPID number. Fixes are also provided in this HCM service level. These correct problems in the following areas: drawing spanned CHPIDs in the diagram; showing CF connections in the diagram; Port Move for spanned CHPIDs; HCM configuration file upgrade from z/OS HCM V1.4 Service Level 6 or earlier; and deleting CTC connections and deleting a processor. |
