- Announced inclusion of the IBM eServer™ zSeries 890 on April 7, 2004.
- A new set of ITRR tables was released on 4/7/04 for the zSeries 890 with one table each for z/OS V1R4, z/VM 4.3, and Linux on zSeries.
- Updated z990 MSU values to reflect the improved software pricing on z990 Servers. MSUs are used for software pricing and are not necessarily a direct indication of relative processor capacity.
- The LSPR pdf document SC28-1187-09 is now included the z890 performance data.

- Announced inclusion of the IBM eServer™ zSeries 990 on May 13, 2003.
- A new set of ITRR data tables was released on 5/13/03 for zSeries machines (including the new zSeries 990) with one table each for z/OS V1R4, z/VM 4.3, and Linux on zSeries.
- Some new workloads are introduced and all z/OS workloads are run in 64-bit (see workload characteristics).
- A new version of the LSPR document SC-28-1187-09 in PDF format is available for download and, due to the significant changes from previous versions, should be re-read. To download the LSPR, see the link titled Introduction and downloadable LSPR.

- The zSeries 900 tables which compare the zSeries 900 to Generations 5 and 6 running OS/390 Version 2, Release 10, have been revised. The base processor for these tables has been changed to the 2064-1C1, and ITR ratios for various models and workloads have been revised based on the results of additional measurements. Adjustments have also been made to some of the ITR ratios for the CMS1 workload in the VM/ESA tables, and for the zSeries 900 models in the VSE/ESA tables. In some cases the SMG/MSU values for zSeries 900 models may also have been revised.

- IBM S/390 Generation 6 (9672-xx7) data added to the LSPR tables. OS/390 data is now Version 2, Release 4. VSE/ESA is now 2.3.2. For continuity, the previous OS/390 Version 1, Release 1 tables are still available. The link to the downloadable LSPR has been moved to the section headed Additional Information.
