| A four-digit feature code is used to specify a component that is configurable in the IBM configurators, the eBusiness Configurator (eConfig) and the IBM Web-based Hardware Configurator, used in US and Canada. Options that do not have feature codes cannot be integrated by IBM into a system using these IBM configurators. To purchase options separately, refer to the option part number provided in this document. |

Notes:
- DIMMs are DDR3-SDRAM registered, required in pairs. Memory Cards support 8 DIMMs each.
- For pre-configured models (i.e. GAVs/SEOs) , a minimum of 1 Memory card and 2 DIMMs are REQUIRED for EACH installed CPU.
- Maximum: Eight memory cards, each card containing four pairs of DIMMs, 64 DIMMs per node.
- DIMM's must be installed in pairs. Pairs must be matching IBM PN's.
- For memory mirroring, Card1 mirrors Card2, Card3 mirrors Card4, Card5 mirrors Card6, Card7 mirrors Card8.
- Mirrored configurations require pairs of memory cards. Min sets of 4, i.e., 2 memory cards with at least 2 DIMMs populated per card, per CPU.
- The Cost sensitive rules are for 1 Memory card per CPU.
- The Performance Sensitive Configuration should always be used when there are 2 Memory cards per CPU - unless mirrored.
- When using the Performance sensitive rules, you must skip the table entries when the associated CPU is not installed.
