A four-digit feature code is used to specify a component that is configurable in the IBM configurators, the eBusiness Configurator (eConfig) and the IBM Web-based Hardware Configurator, used in US and Canada. Options that do not have feature codes cannot be integrated by IBM into a system using these IBM configurators. To purchase options separately, refer to the option part number provided in this document.

Note: Min (1) pair, Max (4)pair DIMMs are required in matching pairs, pairs of other sizes may be installed on a memory card. Memory Cards require 2 DIMMs minimum. Memory Cards support 4 DIMMs each.
Standard: 2 GB depending on server model, expandable to 64 GB. In the case of mixed memory, placement order is slots 1 and 3 on all cards, then slots 2 and 4. Largest sized memory being installed first.
Notes:
  1. Up to four memory cards may be selected.
  2. The system comes standard with 2GB or 4GB, depending on model,
    expandable to four DIMMS per memory card, providing up to 64GB.
