| A four-digit feature code is used to specify a component that is configurable in the IBM configurators, the eBusiness Configurator (eConfig) and the IBM Web-based Hardware Configurator, used in US and Canada. Options that do not have feature codes cannot be integrated by IBM into a system using these IBM configurators. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2, Datacenter Edition or Microsoft Windows
Server 2003 R2, Datacenter x64 Edition is included with the designated
x3950 Datacenter servers. x3950 Datacenter UV and UVHA offerings include
the IBM certified "Drop in the box" MS Datacenter OS to be installed post-
delivery (4-socket license). MS Datacenter solutions/licenses are offered
to support 4-socket through 32-socket solutions. The x3950E Datacenter
Expansion Unit has no physical Datacenter OS installed or shipped separately.
Each x3950E is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for a 4-socket
Datacenter license (Five Client Access Licenses (CAL) are included. Additional
CAL must be purchased separately from Microsoft).1
