The IBM Center for Microsoft Technologies (ICMT) in Kirkland, WA, is located just west of the Microsoft campus, and consists of 50,000 square feet of offices and labs, featuring state-of-the-art technology. The facility opened in 1993 and is an integral part of the IBM Systems and Technology Group. At the Center, there are over 120 software engineers, test and quality specialists, and enterprise solutions support staff whose sole mission is to architect and deliver Microsoft® Windows®–based enterprise solutions.

 
Executive Briefing Center

At the IBM Center for Microsoft Technologies (ICMT) Executive Briefing Center, a team of specialists present and demonstrate advanced use of IBM's Intel®-based System x™ and BladeCenter® blade servers using Microsoft's latest operating systems and infrastructure platforms. These briefing sessions include a variety of topics to help build customer confidence in IBM's commitment to working closely with Microsoft's support teams and development laboratories. IBM System x Windows Solutions Lab

Home to the System x Windows Solutions Lab, application and solution specialists are available to work with customers, Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) and other IBM Business Partners to help drive their application solutions to new levels of scalability, performance and availability. Building on the IBM X-Architecture® blueprint, eX4 technology and the Windows operating system, the Center also enhances and extends Microsoft technologies for virtualization, rapid deployment, migration as well as server consolidation solutions.
