 The IBM Center for Microsoft Technologies (ICMT) in Kirkland, WA, is located just west of the Microsoft campus, and consists of 50,000 square feet of offices and labs, featuring state-of-the-art technology. The facility opened in 1993 and is an integral part of the IBM Systems and Technology Group. At the Center, there are over 120 software engineers, test and quality specialists, and enterprise solutions support staff whose sole mission is to architect and deliver Microsoft® Windows®–based enterprise solutions.
At the IBM Center for Microsoft Technologies (ICMT) Executive Briefing Center, a team of specialists present and demonstrate advanced use of IBM's Intel®-based System x™ and BladeCenter® blade servers using Microsoft's latest operating systems and infrastructure platforms. These briefing sessions include a variety of topics to help build customer confidence in IBM's commitment to working closely with Microsoft's support teams and development laboratories.
