SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM BladeCenter
Provides customers with the ability to purchase a single SUSE Linux Enterprise Server offering and deploy SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on any IBM BladeCenter server configured within a BladeCenter E or H chassis, including Intel x86-based, EM64T-based, AMD64-based, or POWER-based IBM BladeCenter servers. Customers now have the freedom and flexibility to configure, re-provision and expand on demand within an IBM BladeCenter E or H chassis and up to 14 blade servers without having to purchase additional copies of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. These offerings are available when purchasing an IBM BladeCenter E or H chassis.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM BladeCenter® T
Provides customers with the same freedom and flexibility within an IBM BladeCenter T chassis with up to 8 blade servers as they have within an IBM BladeCenter E or H chassis. These offerings are available when purchasing an IBM BladeCenter T Chassis.
Purchase Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise Server offerings from IBM or from an IBM Business Partner. Simply choose the distribution that meets your needs when configuring your System x or BladeCenter server.
To order on-line, simply follow these easy steps:
- Select a server and click on its "Browse and buy" tab
- Click on the "view all models" tab
- Under "Build your own", choose a model number consisting of the letter "A" as the fifth digit and then configure your server to include a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server offering.

Customers can also purchase IBM support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server when purchasing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server from IBM. All SUSE Linux Enterprise Server subscriptions include upgrade protection at no additional charge and access to Novell's SUSE Linux Portal to obtain updates and maintenance.
