IBM System Storage and TotalStorage devices for Oracle environments tested by IBM

Oracle does not certify or support third party storage products (disk, RAID, tape drive, HSM, etc.). Oracle assumes the underlying storage solution is reliable, and the storage vendors support their products directly.

See Oracle's Storage Management Overview for certification and support of third party storage products.

IBM storage products tested for operating systems by IBM can be deployed in Oracle environments.

The DS300 & DS400 have not been tested by the IBM-Oracle Competency Center and therefore should not be proposed. The DS 4000 product family is the preferred IBM Storage solution.
