IBM KVM Center of Excellence

IBM has opened the first-ever KVM Center of Excellence in Beijing, China. The KVM Center of Excellence is co-located with the China Systems Center in Beijing (located at Zhong Guang Cun Software Park, Hai Dian District, Beijing, China 11 100085).

With this new KVM Center of Excellence, we are leveraging IBM’s KVM expertise in China to make it easy for clients and partners to meet the experts, have access to briefings, to enrich their staffs with training, and to conduct proofs of concept of their own solutions.

Linux Distribution Partners Red Hat and SUSE are participating in the KVM Center of Excellence with demos, training, briefings and proofs of concepts of their solutions and access to their technical experts.

The KVM Center of Excellence in Beijing opened on November 28, with a media launch event.

Technology Showcase in the KVM Center of Excellence

IBM clients, partners and sellers can come to the KVM Center of Excellence to learn about open virtualization with KVM through briefings, demos, trainings and proofs of concept.

IBM chose China for this first KVM Center of Excellence, because of the tremendous growth of virtualization deployments in China. According to IDC, virtualization is growing faster in China than the rest of the world, making it critical for these organizations to get the information they need now. The KVM Center of Excellence enables organizations to become educated about open virtualization and particularly KVM so they can make smarter choices about the virtualization technology they rely on.
