System Storage Archive Manager (SSAM) Client
  • Permits users to automatically archive files from their workstations or file servers to data-retention protected storage, and to easily retrieve archived copies of files to their local workstations or file servers
Disaster recovery protection

  • Can use tape libraries using advanced TS1120 or LTO GEN 3/GEN 4 technologies with Write Once, Read Many (WORM) capabilities to provide efficient and cost-effective replication of the data objects and the DR550 database to provide recovery in the event of a failure or the need to relocate to an alternate facility

  • Employs application-transparent Network File System (NFS)/Common Internet File System (CIFS) file archiving
