What is PowerNet...

In 2007 PowerNet aims to generate $35m in incremental hardware revenue.

The PowerNet programme is designed to provide complete end-to-end IT business solutions to customers in small and medium sized organisations.
It does this by creating selling coalitions comprising Independent software vendors (ISVs), Hardware Resellers & Systems Integrators, together with IBM sales leaders to deliver multi-partner solutions.

PowerNet aims to generate $30m incremental IBM hardware revenue via its solution-based selling approach. The benefits for our business partners are even bigger - so far PowerNet solutions have generated over £300 million of revenue for our partners, this figure is forecast to exceed £500million by the end of 2007.

The hardware brands currently covered within PowerNet are IBM System p (UNIX), System x (Intel), System i (OS/400), Retail Store Solutions (RSS) and Storage.
Now in its fourth year, PowerNet is still experiencing considerable growth, this will continue in 2007.
