You: In Control

Today, data is a key corporate asset in all types of businesses. The ability to access data quickly and reliably is critical to your success. Whether your business utilizes a high-performance network server or individual workstations, archiving and retrieving data in a dependable and consistent manner is mission critical.

More capacity in less space

IBM is committed to helping small and medium businesses succeed by designing solutions to help enable your growth and protect your investment. The new IBM System Storage TS2240 Tape Drive—the entry-level IBM System Storage tape product family offering—is the answer to growing storage requirements and shrinking backup windows. As part of the Express Portfolio™, the TS2240 is designed to be affordably priced, easy to install and maintain, integrated to work with your infrastructure, and scalable to grow with you.

IBM TS3100 and TS3200 Tape Library Express Models now support the new IBM LTO™ Ultrium™ 4 Half High (HH) Tape Drive and the IBM LTO Ultrium 3 HH Tape Drive. These tape libraries are designed to support cost-effective backup, save and restore, and archival storage in sequential or random access mode with a standard bar code reader.

More data and faster transfer rates than HH LTO3—and tape drive encryption with HH LTO4—creates a functionally-rich tape storage solution incorporating the TS3100 and TS3200 Tape Library Express Models.

IBM Tape for small and medium businesses

IBM is a company with over 50 years of tape experience. Since 1962, IBM has continually raised the bar when it comes to tape storage and media innovation, and has hundreds of patents to prove this point.

IBM has a long history of establishing expectations in the IT industry, especially when it comes to quality, performance, and durability.

With tape media, it's no different. IBM sets the standards by which other manufacturers measure themselves. Competitors often have to choose to compete on quality or price; few can do both.

Simply stated, few other companies can even approach IBM's breadth of experience and resources when developing tape products.
