The IBM System Storage DS4000 series is a family of storage enclosures that provide 4 Gbps external Fibre Channel storage solutions for midrange business applications. The DS4200 offers:
— 4 Gbps Fibre Channel interface technology
— 1550 MBps throughput with up to 121,500 IOPS (input/output operations per second)
— Capacity of up to 112 SATA drives (using up to 6 DS4000 EXP420 Expansion Units)
