The IBM System Storage DS3000 series is a family of storage enclosures that support IBM System x and BladeCenter servers. The DS3300 models offer:
— 1 Gbps iSCSI host connectione
— Single and dual controller models
— 2 U rackmount enclosure with 12 easily accessible drive bays
— Intermix of dual-port and hot-swappable SAS disks at 10,000 and 15,000 rpm speeds and SATA disks at 7,200 rpm speed
— Capacity of up to 48 hard disk drives* by using the EXP3000 expansion unit
