EMSAT design tagging
Before EMSAT can analyze a design, it needs to know which nets and components are important to the user and which type designation to give each of those nets/components. Nets can be tagged as critical, power, or ground and can also be identified as single-ended or differential. Components fall into one of 4 categories: integrated circuit, capacitor, other passive, or I/O connector. To help speed up this process, EMSAT has several auto-tagging assumptions that can be applied. It also will tag nets/components based on information in a user-specified file or properties in the design file itself.
