IBM High Availability Center of Competency (HACoC) is dedicated to helping clients design and deploy the highly available, end-to-end IT infrastructures needed to make On Demand Business possible.

The HACoC draws upon a broad mix of technology and systems management expertise, including:
- IBM server platforms: System z and zSeries, System i and iSeries, System p and pSeries, and System x and xSeries with various combinations of AIX, z/OS, zVM, VSE, i5/OS, Linux and Microsoft® Windows® operating environments
- IBM System Storage and TotalStorageand business partner networking and storage solutions
- Clustering and grid technologies: for example, z/OS Parallel Sysplex, Linux® and Microsoft Windows
- IBM Tivoli systems management and provisioning IT Information Library (ITIL) standards
