HACoC Engagements
The HACoC offers several types of engagements to help IBM clients meet their defined availability objectives:
Briefings and education, consisting of a one or two day session to discuss:
- Best practices for IBM technologies
- General IT Availability Management best practices and ITIL
High level assessments of client IT infrastructures to define tactical and strategic steps to improve the availability of their end-to-end IT infrastructure. These one-to-two day engagements take the form of client-site workshops in which IBM and client IT leaders and experts collaborate in several assessment activities, including:
- Outage analysis
- Infrastructure Review
- Failure Pattern Analysis
- Backup and Recovery Procedures
The result is a set of recommendations and actions to improve IT availability, including a description of IBM products, services, education and technical documentation to implement the recommendations.
HACoC Literature
The HACoC develops and maintains a set of documents on technology and process improvements for High Availability.
HACoC Contacts
The HACoC is also a single point of contact into IBM technical teams. We connect clients and account teams with other IBM teams that can best meet their needs. We also serve as a feedback mechanism for customer and field input and requirements to be passed to development teams.
