IBM Multi-client Events
These events are sales briefings for groups of accounts — either with a specific industry focus or region. They can be National events sponsored by the Briefing Center; events sponsored by IBM groups; or events sponsored by an IBM Business Partner. These are not educational seminars or classes — they are marketing events, meaning that every customer account must be hosted by an IBM or Business Partner sales representative.
On-line Briefings: an easy and effective method for initiating contact with a qualified prospect, a technical follow-up, or excellent alternative in these days of travel and budget constraints, using audio, charts and demos. Can be customized to any technical depth (recommend limit 1-3 subjects, each approx. 30-45 minutes. To arrange, contact the Briefing Scheduler at 919-543-0766.
IBM System Storage Executive Briefing and Workshop: This 1.5 day event is designed to accommodate both a full-day of traditional briefing coupled with a half-day hands-on activity. The briefing day would contain the typical agenda for a storage briefing. The workshop has a choice of one of (4) storage topic areas --
SAN Volume Controller; DS8000; DS4000; or N series.
For the half-day workshop, the staff of STG SAN Central would cover both introductory and advanced topics. However, it is expected that no complex configuration would be required. If the requirements expand into complex configuration greater than the half-day timeframe, a services engagement with STG SAN Central could be explored. The timing of the half-day workshop and agenda topics for the briefing are open for discussion and customization.
There is no-charge for this offering. PLEASE NOTE: we will need at least
two weeks advance notice and planning, as we are dependent on STG SAN Central resources and staff availability. To arrange, contact the Briefing Scheduler at 919-543-0766 or our EBC Storage contact, Steven Rael (
srael@us.ibm.com; 919-543-1090).
For available seating contact Chris Anthony (
canthony@us.ibm.com; 919-486-2485).
NOTICE: Cost for these briefings is $125 per attendee (customers, business partners, and IBMers). Account codes or Credit Card information is required when you nominate your customers. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations 48 business hours prior to event incur the same charge.
These events will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, and conclude by 4:00 pm. Departure flights should be scheduled after 6:00 pm.
