The IBM BladeCenter system is a high-density server solution providing a shared platform for up to 14 servers in single chassis, offering a space-saving solution compared to traditional servers. BladeCenter system design offers simplicity with respect to management, administration, and configuration. This simplicity is achieved through BladeCenter system shared platform where components are shared by all blade servers instead of a single component for each server.
