IBM Power Systems Linux Center

IBM Power Systems Linux is the fifth global center established by IBM—following Beijing in China, New York and Austin in the United States, and Montpellier in France—with the aim being to accelerate the development and deployment of new Big Data, Cloud, Mobile and Social applications, in combination with simpler and more open technologies.

To meet the needs for open technologies rapidly, its structure has been enhanced to support Linux application developers for servers powered by an IBM POWER processor, and promotes collaboration with these developers in order to provide a wide range of options for enterprise systems.
