The WebSphere Application Server: Support Web site provides individual fixes for critical problems that are not part of the WebSphere Group PTF. Prior to Version 6 of the products, these fixes cannot be installed on your IBM i machine. If you have a critical requirement for a fix, then please contact IBM Service.
For Versions 6, 6.1 and 7.0, the download page for the interim fix contains information on how to install using the update installer. For Versions 8.0 and 8.5, see topic "Installing interim fixes on IBM i operating systems using the command line" in the Version 8.0 and Version 8.5 information centers for instructions on how to install an interim fix using the IBM Installation Manager.
For Versions 6, 6.1 and 7.0, the download page for the interim fix will contain information on how to install using the update installer.
