What is Rational Developer for i for SOA Construction?
Rational Developer for i for SOA Construction (RDi SOA), provides a state-of-the-art integrated development environment (IDE) for RPG, COBOL, CL, EGL and HATS/WebFacing projects. RDi SOA provides wizards to create Web Services from traditional IBM i programs as well as a code generation engine that transforms EGL source for applications and services into either Java or COBOL source. EGL creates code that is platform agnostic, allowing you to use the same programmers for your multi-platform deployment.
