IBM i Access

Demo

You can try IBM i Access for Web by accessing a demo Power System. Send a note to stymie@us.ibm.com to acquire the user IDs, passwords, and URL address of the demo Power System. There are currently two views:

  • The default view for experienced users.
    This shows the basic look of IBM i Access for Web as we ship it. You can try the various functions. Also, click on the 5250 tab, sign onto the IBM i, and start an RPG application called BOATS.
  • A customized view for less experienced users.
    This view shows an example of how a customer might design a web page for their use. Within the demo, select the link from the "Access for Water" main page to see the sample RPG application:

    Other links on the "Access for Water" main page allow a user to work with spooled file information, work with the integrated file system, run database requests, and more.
